Hi Scott Families! 

I am so excited to be starting my 10th year at Scott Elementary.   Scott is such a special place, and I am thankful to work at our neighborhood school.  I consider the Scott community an extension of my family.

I was born in New York and grew up in Florida, but I have now called Texas home for over 30 years.  I graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and this will be my 22nd year of teaching.  Before teaching 2nd grade at Scott, I taught 1st grade at Scott for 8 years. I also taught 3rd grade (in Plano ISD) and 4th grade (in Garland ISD).

My husband Sean and I have been married for 12 years and have two kids:  Chase (15) and Emily (8).  Chase is starting 9th grade at Heritage this year.  Go Coyotes!  Emily is excited to start 3rd grade at Scott!

I am very excited about beginning your child's 2nd grade journey together.  We are a team working together with the same goal in mind - your child's success!   I look forward to a wonderful 2025-2026 school year!
