Application/Membership

If your student served on Safety Patrol last spring and we already have an application on file, there is no need to fill this form out unless there is new information for us to have on record.

To be eligible for and to remain part of Safety Patrol, students must be in good standing at Pink Elementary. A student in good standing is one who follows Think Pink and has all class work/homework up to date. The student must gain 3 signatures on the application:

  • A teacher. This indicates his/her commitment to being a responsible Pink student for this position and that all your homework and class-work is being completed on time.

  • The parent/guardian. This indicates that the student has discussed their desire to participate in Safety Patrol and the parent/guardian consents.

  • The student. This indicates the student's commitment to being a model of Think PINK.

More Information About this Team

Safety Patrol is a morning position from 7:20 am to 7:45am assisting teachers & staff with greeting students in the car-rider lanes, holding open our front doors, and/or helping younger students get to the appropriate place. All Safety Patrol students will wear orange vests while on duty and be in their positions at appropriate times to help the “flow” of traffic in the main hall and the POD entrances. They may arrive at school and come in the gym starting at 7:20am – vests will be available first come, first serve. PLEASE take note that the school doors will not be unlocked until 7:20; so there is no need to arrive any earlier.
