4th & 5th Grade Library Pages

Scott Library Pages is a leadership opportunity made up of 4th and 5th grade students who have demonstrated a love of the library and exemplify positive behavior both in and out of the classroom. This library program involves a one-day-per-week (or bi-weekly, depending upon number of applicants) commitment during recess.  Tasks include shelving, straightening, assisting students, deliveries, and special projects. 

Students must apply to be part of the program and gain parental and teacher permission. Students who are accepted commit for the rest of the school year. Feedback from homeroom teachers will be considered for acceptance into the program.

Timeline-

• Interested 4th & 5th grade students participated in an information learning session during their lunch on 12/6/24

• Applications are due on 12/18/24

• Students notified of acceptance on 12/20/24

• Orientation for Library Pages on 1/10/25
