Beginning Monday, September 9th students can pick up an “Advanced/AP Change Form” in the counseling office. The form is only available in the counseling office and must be completed before any change can be considered.
This form must be completed and turned in no later than 4:30 pm on September 19th, 2024. All changes will take effect Monday, September 23rd, 2024, and not sooner.
Schedule changes will only be made to those who want to change levels of class, out of an advanced or AP level down. We are not able to make any other schedule changes or accept any other types of change requests. This process will require both Teacher and Parent signatures for approval.
11th/12th Grade ONLY: You may request Late Arrival or Early Release if you do not already have 2 on your schedule.
AP with no lower level: The following courses do not have a lower-level equivalent and can only be dropped to release/late arrival. If your course is required for graduation your counselor will give you your options to ensure you meet all graduation requirements. AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics 1,2, C, AP Spanish 4 or 5, AP Euro, AP Music Theory, AP Calc BC, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Art courses. AP Computer Science, AP French 4, Spanish 3 Adv
AP Seminar can be dropped at 6 weeks in 11th/12th only.
If a change is needed and will impact graduation requirements. A counselor will work with you on the next steps, but a form must be submitted no matter what.
If a student is requesting to drop an AP or Advanced course the following criteria must be met: students have completed all assigned work, students have attended tutorials when needed, students have retested when needed.
Changing your schedule now may impact your lunch, your teachers, and your current class schedule. Not all changes will work with all schedules and may not be possible. Previous versions of your schedule will not be granted after a change has been made. We cannot undo changes. We are unable to predict in advance what your schedule will look like with the change. If you are going into an on-level class, the grade from the 1st 6 weeks does follow to the new class and will be a part of your Q1 average. Please note that not all courses have an on-level or lower equivalent to change. If there is not an available option, the course will remain. Speak with a counselor if you have questions or concerns about classes that can impact graduation.
Your counselor will call you down or email your change to you once your form has been completed to change your schedule.

How to get your Reedy High School Transcript
Transcripts must be ordered through Parchment at the link below.
https://www.parchment.com/u/registration/5829745/account
All students will receive an email with their access code. This is sent at the beginning of each year. Search your email for “Parchment” as you will have one that gives your access code. Do not create multiple accounts. If you can not find your access code please contact Shanna Stalder stalders@friscoisd.org
If you are needing help with the ordering process, please visit the Parchment Support page for the step-by-step instructions. Click the “home” tab at the top of the support page for several helpful click sheets. We have also linked click sheets below.
Do not request Common app transcripts in Parchment. You will need to add your counselor as a recommender on Common app and she will submit your transcript via Common App.
Once you have set up your account, you MUST add a personal email address to your account. This will ensure that you always have access to this account, even after graduation.
Our registrar is alerted through Parchment for every transcript ordered. The whole process can take from 3-5 days during high processing times. Please be sure to plan accordingly to be sure you take this delay into consideration for approaching deadlines.
Should any issues arise, please contact Shanna Stalder at stalders@friscoisd.org
If you need help with technical issues, you must contact Parchment Support directly, or visit the links below

Your Reedy counselors will work to make the deadlines listed in Common App. The Common App does not notify us if you are trying to submit your application early. The date listed will be their first application deadline. If you are needing your Counseling rec letter and school profile, or transcript submitted before the deadline listed in Common app, you will need to notify your counselor in writing of your date. In addition, if you are needing a recommendation letter with your application, from your counselor, you must submit the Letter of Recommendation request and allow them at least 10 business days to process. The link can be found here for the letter of recommendation request.
