At this time, counselors have had the chance to meet with the majority of students. We will open a change window on February 3rd to allow students to change anything that they currently have in their schedule for next year. This change window is open Monday February 3rd to Thursday, February 13th at midnight. This is the final chance to make changes to electives, cte courses, and levels of classes to your schedule for the 2025-26 school year.
There are a few exceptions to changes based on district policy below,
Students pre-enroll in the spring semester for the upcoming school year, and the master schedule will be based on that information. Students will be able to see and change their course requests pending availability through February 13 by contacting their counselor. After this date, no course changes (including all CTE classes, core classes, and level changes) are allowed. Exceptions that will be allowed are athletics, band, choir, orchestra, color guard, drill team, debate, and Academic Decathlon. These must be requested by the 7th school day of the year.
Advanced, AP®, International Baccalaureate (IB) and Gifted and Talented (GT) classes may only be dropped at the 6 week mark of a course or at the end of the semester, and course availability may impact options. If available on the campus, GT students are allowed to select an advanced, AP, or on-level course. The decision to make a schedule change will need to be made between the teacher and parents in the best interest of the student. Students are required to follow campus procedures regarding schedule changes. Campus administration has final approval and discretion on all schedule changes.

Change form for 2025-26 School Year
We are in the process of meeting with all students during social studies classes. Dual credit students will also be called in during this time. Students and parents are currently able to review their selections from their 4 year plan updates in HAC. Please note, this is what students entered in November/December, and have not met with a counselor. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure accuracy.
How to review course requests in HAC:
Student must log into their HAC account
Click the "Classes" tab
Review 2025-26 section
Please note: students cannot make changes here on their own, the changes will happen in the meeting with the counselor.
What to Expect in the 1-on-1 Meeting:
Counselors will:
Review verification forms from HAC 4 year plan updates.
Discuss and review graduation requirements, pathways, electives, student goals, etc.
Update course requests in the Home Access Center (HAC).
All changes will be visible in HAC once completed. After all rising Seniors have met with their counselors, a copy of the course verification sheet will be emailed home for review. If we do not receive feedback from you or your student, we will assume the selections are approved.
Making Changes to Course Selections
You can still make changes after the individual counselor meetings. A Google form for submitting changes will be emailed home February 3rd. The deadline to make changes is Tuesday, February 13th, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

It is the time of year when students will plan out their courses for the next school year. While working out your student’s four-year plan, we’ve created this online book, bit.ly/RHSCTECOURSES, showing the various CTE pathways to help you better understand where a student’s interests can take them.
While looking over this binder, we want to help with some common questions that we are asked at this time of year:
Most freshman courses are offered on the student’s home campus (Reedy HS or Frisco HS). Only the courses that have @CTEC in the course title are the ones that are offered at the Frisco ISD CTE Center.
There are many benefits to signing up for CTE courses early:
Many courses offer industry-based certifications that reflect real-world expertise
Allow you to join and compete in Career & Technical Student Organizations, such as BPA, DECA, HOSA & FFA.
Opens the door for students to take four years of classes in their pathway of interest.
Helps students thoroughly prepare for higher education in their area of interest and be ahead of the curve compared to peers who haven’t focused on their courses in high school.
Enable students to be able to take many of the wonderful advanced CTE course options that are only available to students who have taken the course prerequisites.

How to get your Reedy High School Transcript
Transcripts must be ordered through Parchment at the link below.
https://www.parchment.com/u/registration/5829745/account
All students will receive an email with their access code. This is sent at the beginning of each year. Search your email for “Parchment” as you will have one that gives your access code. Do not create multiple accounts. If you can not find your access code please contact Shanna Stalder stalders@friscoisd.org
If you are needing help with the ordering process, please visit the Parchment Support page for the step-by-step instructions. Click the “home” tab at the top of the support page for several helpful click sheets. We have also linked click sheets below.
Do not submit Common App transcripts to Parchment. You will need to add your counselor as a recommender to Common app and she will upload the transcript there.
Once you have set up your account, you MUST add a personal email address to your account. This will ensure that you always have access to this account, even after graduation.
Our registrar is alerted through Parchment for every transcript ordered. The whole process can take from 3-5 days during high processing times. Please be sure to plan accordingly to be sure you take this delay into consideration for approaching deadlines.
Should any issues arise, please contact Shanna Stalder at stalders@friscoisd.org
If you need help with technical issues, you must contact Parchment Support directly, or visit the links below
