Hello! My name is Samantha Newton, and I’m so excited to be entering my third year teaching first grade. Teaching has truly been the most challenging and rewarding journey of my career, and I feel grateful every day to be part of this profession.

My path to the classroom has been a unique one! As a proud military spouse, my family has moved many times while my husband served in the Army. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to explore a wide variety of careers, including working as an account manager, medical records coordinator, patient care technician, and dispatcher, to name a few. Each experience has shaped who I am, but teaching is where I’ve found my heart.

Outside of school, I love volunteering, baking, and spending quality time with my family and our dogs. I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids, and this September, my husband and I will celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary!

I’m looking forward to another fantastic year of learning, growing, and connecting with students and families. Thank you for letting me be part of your child’s educational journey!
