Hello, wonderful Christie families, I am thrilled to be teaching first grade for the very first time! This is my third year in the education field. I previously had the joy of teaching 5th-grade bilingual students. This year, I am excited to return to the very elementary school I once attended as a child and feel incredibly honored to give back to the community that helped shape me.

I graduated from the University of North Texas and have a passion for creating a positive, engaging learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and inspired. I cannot wait to get to know every one of my students and, together, build a classroom family where we can all grow, learn, and let our differences shine.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy going on runs, practicing outdoor yoga, traveling, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
