Ms. LaMore

Hey, 4th grade! My name is Aubrey LaMore. I am from Longview, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in School Health. Gig 'Em, Aggies! I take after my dad and brother, Ryan, when it comes to teaching. It runs in the family! I've taught both 4th and 5th grade, and this will be my sixth year at Ashley.

Outside of school hours you'll catch me playing sand volleyball or pickleball with friends, going to concerts, crafting or watching Aggie football! I also LOVE to read! 

I'm passionate about creating a positive and nurturing environment for my students where they feel accepted and comfortable enough to speak out and ask questions. I not only want to teach my kids to become better readers and writers, but to become better PROBLEM SOLVERS! I love chasing the "ah-ha" moments and seeing their eyes light up with understanding, and I want students to chase those moments on their own. We're going to work hard and grow together, and we're going to have fun doing it!
