Prof. Ho received his Master of Fine Art degree majoring in Sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art (U.S.A.) and his Doctor of Fine Art degree from RMIT University (Aus.) in 1995 and 2003 respectively. He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at CUHK. Ho has participated in prestigious international exhibitions, including the Sao Paulo Biennial and the Venice Biennale as the official Hong Kong representative. His artistic and academic research focuses on exploring bodily perception as a means of aesthetic expression in contemporary sculpture and traditional handicrafts, drawing on the phenomenological philosophy of art, particularly the work of Maurice Merleau-Ponty. Prior to joining the CUHK Department of Fine Arts, Ho was an Associate Professor and Program Director at Hong Kong Baptist University, and the Academic Head of Hong Kong Art School.
