Marching Band - Uniform SizingAll Freshman and Sophomores, and any returning students who feel they need an adjustment to their uniform from the 2019 season, should submit their measurements so we can best fit you for a uniform. Measurements are needed only for instrumentalists in marching band. Color Guard members will be fit in person. Measurement instructions: Wear lightweight clothing while being measured. No bulky clothes! For measurements using a measuring tape, keep it straight and flat against the body, but not tight. Do not add or take inches away. Height - Measurement without shoes on. Chest - Using a tape measure, measure around the fullest part of the chest. (Do not measure around the arms.) Waist - Using a tape measure, measure around the natural waist. (By your belly button, not necessarily where you wear your pants.) Hips - Using a tape measure, measure around the fullest part of the hips. Head size - Using a tape measure, measure around the head, keeping the tape in the middle of the forehead. Measure head size to the nearest 1/8th inch. Wrist - Place an index finger over the wrist, then use a tape measure to measure around the wrist.
