To prepare for summer rehearsals, all woodwind and brass players in grades 9-11 are required to complete two pass-offs by 12:59pm, August 1: one for music and one for marching. These must be memorized and submitted via video. The directors will review your marching and music skills for primary placement in the fall show. The marching requirements will include:

• 9th Grade: Forward march 8, 4x at 135 bpm, with an 4-count halt between each set of 8

• 10th-11th Grade: Forward march 8, Backward 8, 4x. Halt ONLY at the completion of each 16 count move. No halt at direction change.  

For music, students will perform, from memory, Movements 1 and 2 from the marching show. Details can be seen at the link below.
