2023-24 New Tech @ Gereau Application Timeline:

• March 10 - New Tech @ Gereau Applications Due (extended to April 7)

• March 24 - Acceptance/Waitlist Information sent via e-mail listed on application for students who applied prior to 3/10/23.

• April 7 - Extended Application Deadline/Early Commitment Deadline for students who applied prior to 3/10/23. (Contract submitted online)

• April 21 - Final Commitment Deadline for students who applied prior to 3/10/23. (Contract submitted online)

• May 5 - Final Commitment Deadline for students who applied by 4/7/23. (Contract submitted online)

Please note:

• Pre-AP Civics & Economics, Pre-AP English 8, Pre-AP Science 8, and Pre-AP Algebra I are available course options for New Tech students who qualify. 

• Health/PE courses are not available within a New Tech course schedule.

 New Tech Family Information Sessions:

  (Parent/Guardian attendance at info session is required to apply)

Thursday, March 2nd - 10:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 6:00 PM

In-person meetings will be held in the Interactive Lab at the Gereau Center. Virtual Meetings can be accessed at sites.google.com/frco.k12.va.us/newtech/. If you are unable to attend an information session, please contact Heather Quinn to make an appointment: (540 )483-5446.

Students applying for New Tech must also complete 8th grade registration.
