Strengthening School Green Teams
This session will focus on School Green Teams collaborating on their sustainability efforts and align their initiatives with Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification criteria. Grounded in the Danielson 2022 Framework (Domains 1 and 4), participants will reflect, plan, and strengthen their leadership to advance school-wide environmental action. (OTHER)
AI in the ELA classroom: A researched approach
This proposal explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the English Language Arts (ELA) classroom to enhance student engagement, support differentiated instruction, and develop critical thinking and writing skills. Grounded in current research, the project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of AI-assisted learning strategies in promoting literacy and preparing students for a technology-driven academic and professional future. (GRADES 6-8, 9-12)
Strong Foundations: Empowering Educators Through Functional Fitness and Movement
This professional development session is designed to promote educator well-being, enhance physical literacy, and offer practical, sustainable strategies for maintaining physical health through movement-based fitness classes. Participants will engage in an active session focused on Pilates Mat, Total Body Functional Training, and/or Weight Lifting Basics, tailored to various fitness levels. (ALL GRADES)
That is How AI Works?
In this three part series, we will look at AI usage and the science behind how it works. Topics of the sessions will include Usage of AI, Classifiers, and Neural Networks. Please note that while different products may be used, the intent of these workshops is not a how-to for a specific AI product. (ALL GRADES)
From Classroom Voice to Schoolwide Impact: The Warrior’s Path to Leadership and Influence
This session empowers educators to step into leadership, as a teacher leader, supervisor or building leader, by sharing their expertise, building confidence as presenters, and collaborating with peers to drive school wide growth. Participants will explore practical strategies for developing impactful presentations and learn how to influence beyond their classrooms—embodying the true spirit of a Warrior leader. (ALL GRADES)
From Planning to Practice: K–5 Teaching with AI
This session introduces K–5 elementary educators to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence (AI) and its practical applications in teaching and planning. Participants will explore how AI tools can support lesson design, differentiate instruction, and increase efficiency. Emphasis will be placed on modeling responsible digital citizenship and understanding privacy and policy considerations. (GRADES PREK-2, 3-5)
