Engaging Minds and Building Community: Using Number Talks to Enhance Mathematical Thinking and Professional Practice
This professional development session is designed to introduce, model, and deepen understanding of Number Talks—a classroom routine that develops students’ mental math skills and number sense—while intentionally supporting teachers’ growth in Danielson Domains 2 (The Classroom Environment) and 4 (Professional Responsibilities). (GRADES PRE-2, 3-5)

Responsive Small Group Instruction for Self-Contained Students
The workshop will focus on how to plan and deliver small group instruction in academics and ADL (Activities of Daily Living) for students with autism and multiple disabilities. Participants will learn how to engage the most disabled secondary level learners in developmentally appropriate instruction that is meaningful and targeted to meet their diverse needs. (GRADES 6-8, 9-12)
Connect, Respect, and Affirm (The Highly Effective Restorative Educator)
Connect, Respect, and Affirm (The Highly Effective Restorative Educator): This PD session will allow participants to engage in dialogue, reflection, and learning experiences to explore the key concepts of restorative practices. During these PD sessions, participants will explore how to develop Community Agreements, facilitate Community Building Restorative Circles, and utilize Conflict Resolution Techniques to cultivate a respectful and affirming community of learners. (ALL GRADES)

This session explores what productive struggle looks like in math and how to support it through intentional tasks and teaching moves. We’ll also examine how fostering productive struggle helps shape students’ math identities, building confidence and perseverance. Learn strategies to create a classroom culture where challenge is expected, supported, and celebrated. (GRADES PREK-2, 3-5, 6-8)

Building Community Through Ensemble
This professional development series teaches educators to build positive classroom communities using theatre ensemble techniques that enhance traditional restorative practices with physical warm-ups, perspective-taking exercises, and storytelling structures. Participants will learn hands-on strategies from theatre education that create psychologically safe learning environments where conflicts become learning opportunities. (GRADES 6-8)

Create a classroom environment where structure and connection go hand-in-hand. This pathway equips teachers with the tools to build strong routines, deepen student relationships, and foster resilience in learners—all while managing time and behavior with clarity and care. Whether you’re a new teacher or a seasoned pro, you’ll leave each session with practical strategies you can implement immediately. (GRADES 6-8)
Understanding Sensory Processing: Academic Impacts & Classroom Strategies
This session will describe and educate core principles of sensory processing and integration. Understanding and identify sensory classifications. Provide classroom strategies for whole group vs individually for improved implementation in the classroom. Importance on consulting with your school OT throughout the process & differentiating what is an appropriate concern/academic impact warranting services vs a consult/strategy for a student. (ALL GRADES)
Supporting Positive Student Behaviors
This session will focus on shifting from giving directions to teaching positive rules. Participants will learn how to develop and plan clear, student-friendly classroom rules, explicitly teach them, and create visual representations for students to reference. The session will also highlight strategies for providing positive, descriptive feedback and connecting it back to the posted rules to reinforce expectations. (GRADES PREK-2)

This workshop will help secondary teachers effectively and practically implement small-group instruction, also known as station rotation, in their classrooms. This workshop is for middle school and high school teachers, and it is not limited to only teachers who teach content or special education. (GRADES 6-8, 9-12)
