School Counselors

• Implement a comprehensive School Counseling Curriculum, outlined in the calendar below

• Serve as the liaison and primary contact between home and school 

• Provide classroom curriculum and presentations on a variety of developmental topics

• Coordinate and facilitate the 504 eligibility determination process

• Make referrals to in-school services and programs

• Provide short-term individual and group counseling aimed at promoting academic achievement and college/career readiness
