Application for admission timelines and requirements for private high schools vary. Please obtain application and relevant timeline information from the respective schools you are applying to, including application requirements, due dates, entrance exams, etc.
Please note: Private school applications and recommendation requests need to be submitted to your School Counselor at least 3 weeks in advance of the school's application deadline to allow ample time for processing and completion of recommendations.

November 20, 2025: Career Night Open House at Keefe Tech.
January 15, 2026: Priority application deadline
February: Keefe interviews at Walsh - Students will receive passes in Homeroom on their scheduled day. Click here for interview information and tips!
March: Acceptance/Waitlist letters mailed home from Keefe
April: Welcome Session for accepted students at Walsh (during the school day)
April: Welcome Class of 2029 Dinner at Keefe

Early March: Elective Selection (Google form) available, where you will choose your Elective Courses
March 19: Elective Selection Google Form submission deadline

7.0 credits can fit in a year's schedule (full year course = 1 credit; half year course = 0.5 credit)
English 1
Math (Geometry)
Modern World History
Biology
World Language (such as Spanish)
Physical Education (Fitness for Life)
3 electives (such as Painting & Drawing, Foods, Clothing 1)
For students in the ESL program, final courses will be determined based on ACCESS scores.
For students with an IEP, final courses will be determined in the student's Team Meeting this spring.
Important Notes
Please pay close attention to the teachers’ course recommendations. Careful thought, consideration, and knowledge of high school course content and requirements inform teachers' recommendations.
ALL students need to complete a course selection form for FHS even if they plan on attending a different high school.
To be environmentally conscious, students will not be provided with a printed FHS Program of Studies. This can be found on the FHS website or click here: FHS Program of Studies
