Week 8 - things I can finish:

What we have been working on:

We have done lots of work on rounding and compensating for numbers that are close to 100 by taking some off and putting some on. This is an efficient way to solve problems if one number is close to 100. We have consolidated our place value strategies for addition and subtraction, including when the numbers we are subtracting mean we have to take off all the ones together and all the tens together (because the ones we are taking off are larger than the ones in the total).

One number after up to 1,000,000

Complete these activities to practice your number knowledge.

Write the answers out to the questions in your maths book. Make sure you number your questions.

Week 6

Create your own google drawing explaining how to find the number one after a number up to 1,000,000
