This two-day event connects educators with aviation and industry partners to better understand career opportunities and student pathways.
What educators will gain:
Tools to support students with post-secondary decisions
Insight into employer hiring needs and how to connect students to opportunities
Clear pathways, including education, apprenticeships, and entry-level roles
Who should attend:
Educators, administrators, and career coaches. In addition to aviation, sessions will highlight skilled trades, construction and engineering, public safety, and operations.
Educators will receive professional development credits. Schools are welcome to send multiple representatives.

Connecting the foundation of Marzano’s The NEW Art and Science of Teaching and the new Local Accountability system to help educators design high-quality proficiency scales and rubrics. Participants will learn how to backwards map from standards to create clear, multi-level scales that measure student growth. The session specifically focuses on assessing Vibrant Learning Experiences, ensuring that rubrics capture critical thinking, agency, and authentic student products. Teachers will practice drafting scales and rubrics that provide students with a clear "road map" for success and learn how to use these tools to drive meaningful, data-informed feedback.
