What is SEL?

SEL stands for Social-Emotional Learning. While it seems complex, it's really very simple - what skills do we need have (and continue to practice) to be able to understand and manage ourselves, get along with others, and make good choices? 

The slides posted below were used to specifically teach the key components of SEL in all classrooms at Luther during the month of March, 2023. These posters will be hanging in all of our classrooms as a way to help students and staff recognize the connection and integration of SEL skills throughout all academic areas and social interactions.
