We are supported by the wider committee:

From selling strawberries and cream at sports day to organising events, raffles and applying for grants, in 2024/5, the parent council have supported the school with purchasing the following useful resources:
Education City, Picture News and Sing-Up subscriptions
Transport for class trips
Playground Markings (in process), thanks in part to a grant from Lifescan.
A parent council acts as a representative body for parents at a school, ensuring their views are heard and considered by the school administration, while also fostering communication and collaboration between the school and the wider parent community; essentially, their primary role is to advocate for the needs and interests of parents and students within the school environment.
Our main task is organising fundraising events to raise funds to support the children with various things ie: Leavers hoodies, contributions towards equipment and buses to events etc.
