I am certainly excited about the opportunities we have ahead of us.  Society and our world continues to develop and change and it is an important time to be focused on the changes at hand.  We'll dig in, form opinions, examine different perspectives, and learn from each other throughout the year.

Our learning target for this year is simple - 

"I can read, think, and speak as an educated young adult."  

Everything we do in the classroom will support and build the necessary skills to make this target a reality.  

We're going to explore some new and interesting ways to learn and discuss information and show mastery of the ELA skills.  

But most importantly, we're going to THINK and SHARE in order to help each of us  LEARN and GROW. 

I'm looking forward to this year, getting to know you better, and working together in order to best prepare you for your future endeavors.
