Course Overview
Student Impact
I love P.E. because they challenge you to do hard things and push yourself to work harder. What I really like is that we don’t just do regular exercises like jumping jacks or push-ups. They turn those exercises into fun games, so it doesn’t even feel like you’re working out. In P.E., you get to talk with your friends and play, which makes everything even more fun. P.E. even connects to STEM because we learn about how our bodies move, track our progress, and use teamwork and strategy during games. Coach Evans and Coach Francis are great teachers. Their fun personalities make it feel like we’re not even at school! — Carly Navas
In P.E., we learn how to play different games and test our skills in sports like basketball, football, and soccer. We practice working together as a team, playing competitively, and earning points as a group. We also do different fitness tests, like running, push-ups, and sit-ups, and we make it fun by turning them into games. P.E. connects to STEM because we use problem-solving skills, think about strategy during games, and learn how exercise helps our muscles and heart. I like P.E. because we challenge ourselves, improve our skills, and have a lot of fun at the same time. That’s why P.E. is one of my favorite classes. — Efran B.
