For this assignment you will earn a summative score for our first unit over professionalism and employability. Please create a storyboard that showcases the key moments, depicted as scenes, that a student should take in order to successfully choose and be hired for a job they will thrive in.
Create the student as an 8th grader. Give them a name and make them a unique individual.
Creating a make-believe character is actuallty very common practice in the professional world; especially in marketing. It is a tool used to help professionals think through how other people see and experience life— this is called empathy.
You have the freedom to choose how you want to create your storyboard. There are plenty of free platforms/methods to do this SO PLEASE DO NOT ask your parents to buy a subscription for any site.
consider drawing each scene out using color pencils, markers, etc. and then using your phones to scan the drawings. Once you have captured all of the scenes, download them to your google drives. Once they are all on your google drives create a google slide show with one scene per slide. Feel free to provide a short caption for context but avoid writing the story because the scenes should be detailed enough to tell the story. Once you are finished, please submit as a .pdf by clicking on file > download > .pdf
Next choose the key moments in their lives from 9th grade until the moment they are hired for a job in a career they have prepared for and thus will thrive in.
Use some sort of writing tool to create an outline for this or else you may unintentionally leave out important moments.
Use
