(She/Her/Hers)
Natalia is a second-year student in the master’s program in Mental Health Counseling. She comes from Bogotá, Colombia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Bioethics at Universidad Javeriana. Since she arrived in New York to pursue a graduate degree in counseling, Natalia knew she wanted to work with historically marginalized groups, particularly Latinx immigrants. Through her work at CCMH, she has gained experience providing individual and group counseling to Latinx children and families. Natalia has also worked with the diverse youth of New York as a counseling intern at John Jay College Counseling Center and as an academic tutor for undergraduate students who are part of the Higher Educational Opportunity Program (HEOP) at Fordham College. As a member of the CCMH team, Natalia is eager to continue serving the Bronx community and contribute to the project’s mission of providing accessible mental health care for all.
