New York Center For Children provides free, bilingual, trauma-focused, comprehensive evaluation and therapy services to victims of child abuse and their families, for as long as their healing requires.
The New York Foundling school based mental health services operate in elementary, middle, and high schools in the Bronx, Queens and Manhattan and are part of New York City’s Community School Initiative.
Astor Child Guidance Center is a community-based non-profit organization that provides children’s mental health services, child welfare services, and early childhood development services in New York State’s Mid-Hudson Valley region and the Bronx.
Jacobi Behavioral Health Services offers a comprehensive continuum of consultative, inpatient, ambulatory, and emergency services for people with mental health and substance abuse disorders (children and adults).
Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center provides comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families. A continuum of services is offered that includes inpatient as well as outpatient psychiatric care.
BronxCare Department of Psychiatry offers comprehensive care for mental health and chemical dependence for adults, adolescents, and children.
Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) Psychiatry offers both inpatient and outpatient services. They work on a consultative model, supplementing your primary physician with behavioral, emotional, and social support.
Comunilife provides vulnerable communities with housing and culturally sensitive supportive services including the Latina Adolescent Suicide Prevention program, Medical Respite program and health and housing services.

St. Barnabas Hospital (Formerly Fordham-Tremont Mental Health) offers a wide range of clinical services to children, adults and geriatric patients. Individual, group, and family psychotherapy, crisis intervention and psychopharmacological services are provided.
Puerto Rican Family Institute, Inc. A non-for-profit, multi-program, family-oriented health and human services agency that provides culturally sensitive services to children adults and families in all of New York Communities (counseling, Head-start, homebased, residential and family support services).
Mosaic Mental Health offers parent-child attachment intervention as well school based, clinics, family support, and school consultation services.

Trauma Specific Resources
The Butler Center provides comprehensive evaluations and treatment for children who are victims of physical or sexual abuse, have been exposed to violence or may have experienced trauma related to abuse and neglect. The Jewish Board services a wide range of emotional and social problems such as trauma, depression, attention deficit disorder (ADD), domestic violence, anxiety, depression and isolation. HomeSchool Life Food Community Meals: The New York City Department of Education is committed to making free meals available daily for any New Yorker. Any New Yorker who wants one can get free meals at more than 400 Meal Hubs across the city. Meals can be picked up at all Meal Hubs 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Meals Hubs will operate for children and families from 7:30 am to 11:30am, and for adults from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
No one will be turned away at any time
All adults and children can pick up multiple meals at one time
Vegetarian and halal options available at all sites
No dining space is available, so meals must be eaten off premises

New York Legal Assistance Group: Call the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG’s) COVID-19 Legal Resource Hotline (929-356-9582) to get answers to legal questions for New Yorkers impacted by COVID, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Report Attempted Evictions: Anyone with knowledge of City marshals attempting to execute on warrants of eviction can report this activity by calling DOI’s Bureau of City Marshals at (212) 825-5953.
NYCHA Information for Residents Struggling with Rent Hardships:
NYCHA encourages households experiencing a loss of income to visit the NYCHA Self-Service Portal.
Section 8 participants can report a decrease in household income by completing an Interim Recertification via the NYCHA Self-Service Portal at https://selfserve.nycha.info.
Section 8 participants can also call NYCHA’s Customer Contact Center (CCC) at 718-707-7771 to request the Voucher
Holder’s Request Interim Change form by mail.
Families who experience a complete loss of income may qualify for NYCHA’s Minimum Rent Exemption. NYCHA will automatically apply the exemption as appropriate.

IDNYC: A card for all New Yorkers, from all backgrounds, and from all five boroughs. Your immigration status does not matter. The free, municipal identification card for New York City residents, ages 10 and up.

Fordham to Distribute $1.25 Million in Pandemic Relief Funds from State Ed Department
"Fordham’s Community Schools Technical Assistance Center (CS-TAC) has been tasked with distributing $1.25 million from the state education department to community-based organizations across New York City and Long Island to help local families recover from the pandemic."
"In a few weeks, Fordham CS-TAC will invite community-based and faith-based organizations across New York City and on Long Island to apply for state CARES funds—which are separate from the city’s CARES funds—in grants ranging from $10,000 to $25,000; grants will be awarded in May or June."
