Dr. Stanley Hauerwas’ value of the intellectually disabled’s theological significance helps demonstrate the true meaning of disability and pushes society's boundaries for the intellectually disabled.

           1 Corinthians 3:9

Saint Paul explains that each person has a share in God’s work and God works through the lives of every one of us no matter our intellectual capacities. In Mark 16:15 we read, “Go you into the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned” God calls us to include all, and disinclude none.
