The mistreatment of people with intellectual disabilities is an injustice that has been prominent in society since the 1900s. Although many forms of mistreatment were abolished, the intellectually disabled still face modern forms of mistreatment in academics, athletics, and society. My mission is to raise awareness of the modern forms of mistreatment that the Intellectually disabled face.
