GHMS 2026 AMC 8 Math Competition

$6/student, open to all GHMS students, must follow BOTH registration steps
Young mathematicians from middle and high schools are at the heart of the AMC. Their curiosity, passion, and problem-solving skills shape the future of mathematics.
25 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes
It will include topics such as counting and probability, estimation, proportional reasoning, elementary geometry (including the Pythagorean Theorem), spatial visualization, and interpreting graphs and tables. Some of the later questions may touch on beginning algebra topics, such as linear or quadratic functions and coordinate geometry.
Register via the GHMS AMC 8 link. Make sure to record your username and password.
Pay the $6 fee on the school Pay Fees site.
*BOTH parts must be completed by Thursday, December 18th.
