Withdrawal Process

See the information below regarding the withdrawal process.  Please note that for all withdrawals, the student's parent or legal guardian must be present to withdraw the student. 

FMHS Withdrawal Process

Transferring to another school

If a student is withdrawing from Fort Mill High School to transfer to another school, then the student must formally withdraw before registering at a new school. Parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) need to contact the school registrar directly to set up a time to come in to withdraw. Please bring the parent(s)/legal guardian(s)' driver's license/ID and all textbooks, library books, Chromebook, etc. the student has checked out in their name. 

Adult Education, Job Corps, and Other Withdrawal Reasons

The student and parent will meet with the student's counselor before being withdrawn from Fort Mill High School. 

For students in 10th-12th grade, please call Rachel Bodem at 803-548-8407 or email bodemr@fortmillschools.org to set up an appointment time. 

For students in 9th grade, please call Anne Anderson at 803-548-8016 or email andersona@fortmillschools.org to set up an appointment time. 

Please try to provide a minimum of two business days' notice to expedite the process. 

When students withdraw, they will lose access to their Google Drive.  Please follow the instructions located here to save any student work prior to withdrawal.
