Fort Mill School District offers several course options where students can earn college credit. Please see the information below for additional information. You can find more information about the AP and Dual Credit course offerings at FMHS here.
Advanced Placement (AP) courses are a great way to prepare students for the rigors of college. In some cases, passing the national exams for AP courses allows students to earn college credits while in high school and be exempt from college courses.
Signing up for most AP courses is a year-long commitment because of class size, limitations, staffing decisions, and to protect families from the exam cancellation fee mandated by the College Board.
It is crucial for students to consider the rigors of all courses, extracurricular activities, and other obligations when making decisions about taking an AP course.
Juniors and Seniors may take USC-L college courses in pairs during one high school block.
