South Carolina Scholarships and Tuition Assistance

The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education (CHE) oversees the Hope, Life, and Palmetto Fellows scholarships, grants, and the Lottery Tuition Assistance program.

Please note that as required by the SC CHE, GPA and ranking for Life and Palmetto Fellows scholarships will be calculated at the end of the sophomore, junior, and senior year following the posting of year-end grades to the official transcript. The process will occur at the end of the second semester each year and prior to June 15th, which is the deadline required by the CHE.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used by the federal government to determine a family's eligibility for grants, work-study, and loans to pay for college.

The FAFSA will open in December 2023.
