The mission of the Fort Mill High school Counseling Department is to provide a proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate counseling program to help students attain the skills and knowledge needed to become lifelong learners and productive members of a global community.
The FMHS School Counseling department believes that every student is uniquely gifted and qualified to become productive citizens in a diverse and ever-changing world. While each student's path may look slightly different, we wholeheartedly believe that every student has within themselves the ability to succeed. School counseling is a collaborative endeavor and as such, it is the goal of the FMHS counseling department to partner with stakeholders to provide students with the necessary academic, social, and emotional skills needed to be successful both in and out of the classroom. Our commitment to the Fort Mill community is to strive each day to "go the extra mile" for our students.
