Objectives WP4 will evaluate the biodiversity role in shaping human mental and social well-being and provide a comprehensive understanding on its influence, aiming at formulating recommendations for fostering healthy urban designs based on these insights.
Activities
WP4 will exploit the assessment of both species diversity and abundance to comprehensively evaluate their distinct contributions to physical, and mental health and overall well-being.
Using the available European data and surveys, the manner through which biodiversity may affect the burden on chronic disease will be assessed.
Biodiversity-induced emotional and social well-being and its potential to promote social interactions and foster social cohesion will be investigated.
