General Eligibility
4 high school credits earned at the time of application. This means that most students will be eligible to start in 10th grade (Fall semester if they earned 1 high school credit in middle school, Spring semester for all other students)
3.0 unweighted GPA. 2.5 unweighted GPA for the DESA and Career Ready Dual Enrollment program
SLS1101 permitted with just the passing reading score
Qualifying test scores
PERT 106 Reading, 103 Writing, 114 Math (MAT1033) / 123 (MAC1105)
SAT 490 Reading/Writing, 480 Math (MAT1033)
ACT 19 Reading, 17 Writing, 19 Math (MAT1033) / 21 (MGF1130) /23 (MAC1105)
CLT 38 sum of verbal and grammar/writing, 16 math
Number of Courses Permitted Per Term
1-2 courses recommended for new students (one of which would be SLS1101, College Success)
Grade 10-12 dual enrollment - up to 3 courses per term
Grade 11-12 Early College (full time college with 0 FVHS classes) - 4-5 courses per term (minimum 12 credits per term, minimum 30 credits per academic year)
