Need Help Applying to college?
del mar college - TRio program
The Educational Opportunity Center is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is sponsored locally by Del Mar College (DMC). The EOC is part of a group of programs known under the umbrella of “TRIO” programs. TRIO (coined for the first three programs started in 1972) includes Upward Bound, Talent Search and Student Support Services. All of these programs give priority to low-income, first-generation individuals who want to improve their level of education.
If you know of any seniors who need extra guidance with navigating the college admissions process or even any juniors who might need some direction or help with college planning, this could be a great resource for them. Our program contact is Sheryl Villereal and she can be reached at 361-698-1188 or svillere@delmar.edu.
More info on TRIO can be found here: https://www.delmar.edu/offices/trio/eoc.html
