There are five tasks associated with Reading Vocabulary:

Dictionary Work: (10 points)

1.  Define the word using dictionaries or textbook

2.  Identify the word’s function (verb, noun, adj., etc.)

3.  Find two (2) synonyms for 10 of the 20 words

Writing Work: (10 Points)

4.  Write a sentence for each word that is at least eight (8) words long

5.  Write a 100-word paragraph using five vocabulary words demonstrating meaning and function
