Spring of 1986: Graduated from Schuylkill Valley School District.
Fall of 1990: Graduated from Kutztwon University with a Bachelors Degree in Art Education.
Fall of 1990 to Spring of 1996: Long-term substitute assignments as an Art Teacher and Daily substitute in different school districts in Berks county.
Fall of 1996: Started at Fleetwood Area Middle School as a contracted Art Teacher.
Spring of 1997 and 1998: Set Designer for Fleetwood High School Musical

Fall of 2000: Earned my Master's Degree in Art Education from Kutztown University.
Spring of 2015: Got married.
Spring of 2020: Taught virtually at the start of the pandemic,
Fall of 2020: Taught students in the hybrid model for the school year.
Present: Art Teacher at Fleetwood Area Middle School.
My Interests
Horseback riding I had horses until 1995.

Showing antique cars in shows across the country.
Playing with my dog (Ox), and 3 cats (Stella, Ziggy, and Tess)

Travelling to Virginia to visit my husband's family
My Goals
My goal as an Art Teacher is to provide opportunities for students to explore, experience and experiment with different media and techniques used to create art. Provide opportunities for students to learn about different artists, styles, and cultures influences in art.
