What is mentorship?
Mentorship is a structured and protected relationship in which a more knowledgeable or experienced person guides and nurtures the professional development or growth of another person.
How do I know if I'd be a good mentor?
You enjoy building caring and supportive relationships
You encourage and have a passion for developing yourself and others
You enjoy listening, questioning, and guiding/coaching others
You feel you have information, knowledge, and experience that is helpful for others
Reflect on these questions before signing up to be a mentor
What experience and learnings can I bring to the mentoring relationship?
What are my own expectations for the relationship?
Are there any obstacles that could impede the relationship's development?
During the Fleet Feet Mentorship Program, Mentors will be responsible for:

Creating SMART goals in partnership with their mentee that will take place over the 10-week program and beyond
Coaching and guiding the mentee on areas outlined in the Program Roadmap
Ensuring meetings take place and adjusting the Program Roadmap when needed
Coming prepared to each meeting and Being Present in Every Moment
