What is mentorship?
Mentorship is a structured and protected relationship in which a more knowledgeable or experienced person guides and nurtures the professional development or growth of another
How do I know if I'd be a good mentee?
You enjoy building caring and supportive relationships
You have a passion for learning, growth, and your own personal development
You are open to feedback and new ideas and are coachable
You have identified a few areas you'd like to develop in (either personally or perhaps your manager has helped you identify areas of opportunity/development)
Reflect on these questions before signing up to be a mentee
What experience, skills, and learnings am I hoping to gain from this mentorship program?
What are my own expectations for the relationship?
Are there any obstacles that could impede the relationship's development?
During the Fleet Feet Mentorship Program, Mentees will be responsible for:
Completing the Mentorship Contract in partnership with their mentor
Building out and completing the 10-week Program Roadmap in partnership with their mentor
Creating SMART goals in partnership with their mentor that will take place over the 10-week program and beyond
Ensuring meetings take place and adjusting the Program Roadmap when needed
Coming prepared to each meeting and Being Present in Every Moment
Leading conversations, coming up with questions, and being curious while seeking to understand
