On 14th November 2024, the Women’s Cell, in collaboration with Project Impact, hosted a powerful awareness session on Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) with the incredible Dr. Jyotsna Angom. With her extensive expertise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr. Angom led an engaging conversation on women’s health, debunking myths and addressing concerns with clarity and compassion.
The session provided students with valuable insights into managing PCOD, recognizing symptoms, and the importance of early diagnosis and self-care. It was an open, honest, and much-needed discussion that left attendees feeling more informed, empowered, and supported.
FLAME Community Service Club, in collaboration with Project Impact and the FLAME School of Communication, organised by Mr. Pranav Sharma proudly presented a Panel Discussion on Women’s Health and Hygiene on 7th February. The panel represented all sides of the conversation, with policy professionals to teachers and homemakers, all presenting their views on the question of women’s health and hygiene.
This discourse was indeed important, but the presence of students of classes 8th and 9th from the Lavale School made it even more important. All-in-all, the event was a huge success and we are grateful to all those who attended!
