Project Impact, in collaboration with Fever FM 94.3, carried out the "Padhenge Toh Badhenge" campaign. This initiative aimed to create a library for an under-resourced local school by collecting gently used books from the university community. The drive, which ran from August 18th to August 24th, sought to give children access to a world of stories and educational resources.
Students, faculty, and staff were encouraged to donate storybooks and children's literature in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
Drop-off points were established at three key locations on campus to ensure widespread participation. With support from various campus clubs, including the Sociology Club, the Philosophy Club, the Reading Initiative, and the Ellipsis, along with Boka Book Café Pune, the drive resulted in the collection of over 250 books.
This collaborative effort not only provided tangible resources but also extended beyond the university campus, reaching Fever FM's listeners. The "Padhenge Toh Badhenge" campaign effectively demonstrated how small acts can create a lasting impact, turning pages into possibilities for a brighter future.
