Both Preschool and Pre-K follow the Fisher School hours (8:00-3:20) and the school-year calendar.

Optional wrap-around childcare runs from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and is offered through Fisher School. Please visit the Fisher School website or call the office at 218-891-4105 for more information.

The Fisher School Early Childhood Program strives to offer two screening events each school year.
If your child attends Fisher School's Early Childhood Programs and requires screening, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment.
If your child does not attend Fisher School, please reach out to Danielle Andrist at andristd@fisher.k12.mn.us or 218-891-2828 for more information and to schedule an appointment.

About the Screening
The Minnesota Legislature mandates that all children participate in an Early Childhood Screening prior to or within 90 days of entrance into a Minnesota Public School, preferably between ages 3 and 4. Screening is done to guarantee that all young children are well-equipped and ready for learning. The mandated components of Early Childhood Screening include vision and hearing screenings, a speech and language assessment, a developmental assessment, an immunization review, and a summary interview.
