About the Teachers

My name is Danielle Andrist (aka Miss Danielle) and I was born and raised in Grand Forks, ND. I still live in Grand Forks with my husband, two kids, and two fluffy puppies. I have been working with young children for over 15 years. I received my B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Dakota in 2012 and my M.S. in Early Childhood Education, also from UND, in 2020. 2025-26 will be my 9th year teaching Fisher Pre-Kindergarten and coordinating the Early Childhood programs. Prior to teaching here, I taught preschool for 5 years at a private center in Grand Forks and spent 5+ years before that as a classroom aide. I love working with young children and laying the foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Hi, I'm Amanda Wagner, and I am the teacher's assistant in Pre-K! I grew up here in Fisher and graduated from Fisher School in 2006. This year will be my 9th as an assistant in Pre-K at Fisher School, and I have been working in childcare for about 10 years now. When I'm not working, you can find me reading, playing piano, or doing photography. I am very excited for the new school year!
