Description:
“Tech Talk” is a live interactive session conducted as part of INCEPTO' 22 by Civil Department of FISAT. The guest of the program is JOBY THOMAS (Construction specialty contractor), a prominent figure among the Civil Engineering community to give us an overview on Construction Chemicals and Concrete Specialty Jobs.
Interested students can participate by registering for the event. They will also get a chance to interact with our guest. Students from any department can participate in the event.

In 1993 he started his business career as a footwear wholesale trader. In 1999 acquired Blossom inners which is an innerwear brand for women. In 2000 started Roof India Engg Company Pvt Ltd which deals with concrete specialty jobs. In 2012 started Rieco chemicals-dealing in trading of construction chemicals. Lately in 2017 started a building material testing laboratory- called Greenlab. He is a consultant of structural repairing and waterproofing works.
Achievements-Major Clients and works
He has undertaken major concrete speciality works in companies like Larsen and Tubro
(L&T),Shapoorji and Pallonji Group ,AFCONS, Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd(KMML) ,Indian Rare Earths Ltd(IREL),HINDALCO,LNG Petronet, Cochin Port Trust, Cochin Shipyard, BPCL,Greater Cochin Development Authority(GCDA).
His major clients consist of architects, builders, contractors, structural engineers.
