IT'S DEBATABLE!!! is a debate competition organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, FISAT, as a part of their technical festival INCEPTO’22.

IT'S DEBATABLE!!! aims to provide an opportunity for young minds to come forward and experience the art of debating to take away the 3Es – Experience, Expertise, and Excellence. The event will be judged by a panel of three experts from academia and the best team will receive a cash prize of Rs. 3000.

Guidelines

• Each team should have two people.

• A preliminary and secondary round will determine who advances to the final debate round.

• The preliminary round will be held online, and the secondary phase will be an extempore competition from which the four teams for the final round will be chosen.

• For the final round,a debate will be held on current technical issues.

• The language used for communication is English. Subject knowledge, communication abilities, and listening skills will all be evaluated.

• A moderator will moderate each debate portion, while a timekeeper will maintain track of the time.

• The judges' decision will be final and binding.
