DESCRIPTION

INCEPTO has dawned again with various events for civil engineering students. This time SPIROMANIA is here to make it more fun and interesting for you. It's all about a tower making competition,which is a real hands-on experience for the participants to put in their skills and interests in constructing a model. The model can be made using popsicle sticks,toothpicks and cotton threads. The aim of this event is to understand the action of tension and compression forces on a structure. The final model is judged on the originality,aesthetics and the ultimate load carrying capacity of the design.

GUIDELINES

1. A group of four is entertained to participate in the competition.

2.All the necessary items to construct tower will be provided.

3 Judgement will be based on originality, aesthetics, load carrying capacity

4. Duration of the event is 2 hrs

5. All participants will be awarded with participation certificates.
