School Trips

If you are taking part in a field trip, sports trip or other school event that requires you to miss classes, you must meet the following conditions:

• All school work must be up to date

• Your class teachers must give approval for your participation; this will be based on the current standard of your work. 

• Any work you miss during your participation must be made up upon your return or in advance.

If you behave inappropriately on a school trip or sports trip, you may be sent home immediately at the trip leader’s discretion (in consultation with a principal) and at your parents’ expense. No student will be permitted to share a room with the opposite gender. Any and all behaviour issues occurring while on trips will result in a conference with a principal upon returning to school. Consequences will be in line with FIS behavior and conduct expectations.
