They perform many important functions for you such as:

• Providing opportunities for you to learn and develop skills such as leadership through the Peer Educators group and the Ambassadors group

• Providing a listening ear when you need someone to talk to, whether it is about a personal matter or an academic problem

• Offering advice for your future, whether it is advising you about universities and colleges or helping you plan your studies for your remaining years in school

• Keeping information confidential unless disclosure is required to prevent clear and imminent danger to the student or others.
