• In order to help maintain a positive learning environment for the entire Frankfurt International School community, and to hold students accountable for their behavior, consequences will be assigned to students as part of the progressive discipline process.
• These will include:
• Verbal warning
• Parent conferences (with either Counsellor, and/or Year Head and/or Principal, depending on the infraction)
• Break or lunchtime sessions with the Year Head or Associate Principal
• In-school suspension
• Out-of-School suspensions
• Alternative placement for students
In some cases, students may have to spend break or their lunchtime in the Year Head or Associate Principal's office to address the behavioural issues of concern. This is to give adequate time for the student and Year Head or Associate Principal to address the reason for the behavior and develop actions that lead to positive change without it impacting on classes.
