Continue to submit your college applications Consider if you need additional or specific letters of recommendations for upcoming apps.
Update your resume and activities chart
Private colleges: Find out if they require an additional financial aid application (the CSS Profile) and explore colleges that accept the Common Application
If you've been in foster care, see if you are eligible for Chafee Education & Training Grant
If you haven’t, create account in OSAC Student Portal at OregonStudentAid.gov
Are you a member of an Oregon Tribe? See if you are eligible for the OR Tribal Student Grant
Complete and submit college admissions applications directly/or use Common App
Spend your break working on Scholarships when you have time.
Talk to current college students home on holiday break about their post-HS experiences Discuss your future goals and college plans with family/caregivers. Begin the conversation of how you will pay for post HS education. Share the fields of study, colleges, universities, trades schools or military service you are considering
